Stargazing in Extremadura
Extremadura, with its low pollution, is one of the best places for stargazing.
The 4* hotels of the Hospederías de Extremadura Network are mostly located in rural areas, making stargazing an exciting experience of contact with nature.
Two of our hotels are located in regions certified as Starlight Destinations: Las Hurdes and Monfragüe National Park.
In addition, the Hospedería Parque Nacional de Monfragüe also has its own certification as a Starlight Hotel.
Stargazing Viewpoints
Extremadura has a Network of Stargazing Viewpoints, located in privileged places for the observation of the starry sky.
Depending on the season of the year, these Observatories can be illuminated at night to show the celestial bodies visible from that enclave and help us to enjoy the observation of the starry night sky.
The Hospedería Parque de Monfragüe has a Stargazing Viewpoint in the garden area.
